Frequently Asked Questions


When will my order ship? 
Given that most of our items are handcrafted it may take a 7-14 days for your item to ship.  Many of our itmes ship for different artists and therefore, your order may be shipped separately.  We will always send you confirmation on your order and when they will ship.  
  • What type of payments do you accept? 

    We accept Pay Pal and Google Checkout (which accept major credit cards).  This provides a secure system for you and allows us to keep our prices affordable.   

    When do you charge me for my order? 

    If you choose to pay via credit card, your card will be authorized for the purchase amount of the order and will be charged immediately. PayPal and Google Checkout orders are automatically collected during the transaction process.

      

    How do I apply a coupon code? 

    Coupon codes are entered during the checkout process. Only one coupon may be used per order. Some conditions and qualifications may apply on free shipping or other promotional coupons.


    How will I know when my order has shipped? 

    If you provide a valid e-mail address, you will receive an immediate e-mail confirmation of your order. When your order ships, you will receive another e-mail with any applicable tracking numbers. Please be sure to check your spam folders for our e-mails as they are automatically generated by our store software and are often picked up by spam filters. 


    What if I need my order shipped via an expedited service? 

    Given that we work with various artists your item will ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground or USPS Parcel.  We do offer an expedited service upgrade that may be selected during checkout. If you require your order to be shipped via a faster method, please contact us for a direct quote at 785-205-6358.


    Will you ship to other countries?

    We do not currently accept orders from outside the United States or from APO's over the web due to cost.  However, if you have fallen in love with one our many items give us a call and we might be able to make an exception.


    Can I have my order shipped COD?

    We do not offer cash on delivery (COD) shipping. All orders must be paid in full before they are shipped. 


    How long will it take to receive my order?

    We strive to process and ship all of our orders within 4-7 business days after payment is received. However, many of our items are lovingly handcrafted and take a bit of extra work & time to create. We will certainly contact you if there is as an order that would take longer to fulfill.


    What is your Sales Tax Policy?

    By law, we have to charge tax in the state of Kansas.


    What is your order Cancellation Policy? 

    Once an order is placed on our website, it goes directly to our artists for fulfillment. Therefore, once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. You will be able to return the items for a refund minus shipping charges. Please email us at customerservice@anythingbirds.com or phone us at 1-785-205-6358 to let us know you will be returning the unopened boxes/items for a refund.


    How long will it take to get my refund?

    Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the return has been received and processed by our shipping/returns department.* Please note that it may take a few additional days for "your" bank to post the refund to "your" account.

    *To avoid delays in processing your refund, please be sure you have followed our Return Policy instructions carefully. Avoid Return Packages - In the event a package is returned to our warehouse, due to refusal, not available after 3rd attempt or buyer providing the wrong address, buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred in addition to a 35% restocking fee.

    To help avoid returns, please make sure you have given us your correct address and phone number so you may be contacted if there is a problem delivering your package.


    What is Terms of Service (TOS)?

    By placing an order with anythingbirds.com, you acknowledge, accept and agree to all of the Terms of Service seen throughout our website. Our Terms of Service are subject to change at any time without notice.


    What are Chargebacks/Charge Backs?

    A chargeback is a refund that is forced by a cardholder's credit card company or bank. A chargeback is the direct result of a cardholder reporting a problem to their credit card company or bank.

    We work hard to solve any problems which may arise. If customer disputes justified charges without consulting anythingbirds.com to resolve the dispute, anythingbirds.com has the right to charge the customer a $75.00 administration fee and immediately suspend customers buying privileges.


    NSF and Other Fees?

    In addition anythingbirds.com charges a $25.00 fee for all NSF items that are returned to the company.


    What is "Right To Refuse"?

    We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We enforce this policy to ensure a professional environment for our customers and the users of our site.
